Q. Can I cash out my points once they accumulate?
No. Points are simply the indicator that determines your share ratio of Bitcoin when the unlocking succeeds. Cashing out or transferring is not possible until the unlock is complete.
Q. Is the displayed amount the reward I will actually receive?
The displayed figure is an estimate of “what you would receive if the unlock happened right now.” It fluctuates daily based on the total points issued system-wide and the BTC market price.

If you have just discovered CryptoDiver or arrived via LINE, please start here.
QIs CryptoDiver free to use?▾
Yes. Anyone aged 13 or over can use it for free. Downloading the app, creating an account, and performing CryptoDiving are all completely free.
For users who want to accumulate points more efficiently, we also offer paid items such as Diving Passes and Drone Tickets.
QWhere can I download the app?▾
iPhone users can download from the App Store, and Android users from Google Play.
When you download through our official links, the official referral code “BX4V1TW” is automatically applied.
QWhat is the difference between a Diver ID and a referral code?▾
Both are 7-character alphanumeric codes, but their roles are completely different.
Diver ID (ends with “D”)
A login ID that identifies your own account. It is required when using the same account on a second smartphone, or when logging in after changing devices. It cannot be changed, so please write it down and keep it safe.
Referral code (ends with “W”)
An invitation code entered when creating a new account. It links the referrer and the new user. Enter it on the registration screen and tap the cloud icon on the right — if correct, the referrer’s Diver Name will be displayed.
QIsn’t searching for passwords illegal?▾
No. All operations are performed under direct authorization from the wallet owner, so there is nothing illegal about it.
QAre the high rewards legal?▾
Yes. Rewards from CryptoDiver are work compensation for engaging in analysis and contributing to the project’s development. They are legitimate compensation for labor and contribution, and there is nothing illegal about them.
Account & Login
Questions about registration, login, device changes, and account management.
QI don’t know how to enter a referral code.▾
On the registration screen when creating a new account, enter the referral code and tap the cloud icon on the right. If the code is correct, the referrer’s Diver Name will be displayed.
Our official referral code is “BX4V1TW”.
QIs an email address required?▾
It is not mandatory, but we strongly recommend registering one. It may be needed in the future for password resets or identity verification, and important official announcements are also sent to your registered email.
QCan I use any account name?▾
You can set any name freely, as long as it does not expose personal information such as an email address. You can use hiragana, katakana, kanji, alphabet letters, symbols, and emojis.
Note that your account name is linked to your referral code and can be seen by the people who referred you and those you refer.
QCan I use the same account on a second smartphone?▾
Yes. Install the app on a second device and log in from the login screen using the same Diver ID (7 digits) and password.
Points are combined, but please note that discovered Crypto and purchased items are managed separately per device.
QI want to change to a new smartphone.▾
Install the app fresh on the new device and log in using the same Diver ID to carry over your points.
QI forgot my password.▾
Your password is essential for logging into your account. Unintended forced logouts can also occur, so please be sure to write it down and keep it safe.
If you do forget it, we will need to perform a forced password reset, so please contact our official LINE.
QI want to delete my account.▾
Tap the menu button at the top-left of the main screen and select “Delete Account.”
CryptoDiving
How to dive and how to use tickets and passes.
QHow do I earn rewards?▾
Once account registration is complete, you can immediately begin “CryptoDiving.” Just tap and analysis starts automatically, awarding you points.
If you discover an “Unknown Crypto” during a dive, you will also earn bonus points.
QWhat is the difference between a Diving Pass and a Diving Ticket?▾
A Diving Pass lets you dive unlimited times for a fixed period, while a Diving Ticket is a consumable item that allows one dive per ticket.
Once you start using either, it disappears from the item list and the remaining days (Pass) or remaining count (Tickets) is displayed at the top of the diving screen.
QWhere can I purchase items?▾
You can purchase items via “Diving Items” on the app’s home screen, then selecting “Purchase Diving Items.”
QIf a dive fails, is the ticket consumed?▾
No. If a dive fails, the ticket is not consumed and will remain as is. Please rest assured.
QAds do not appear during diving.▾
Ads are delivered via Google AdMob, so depending on availability, ad inventory may be insufficient and ads may not display. Please wait a while and try again.
Crypto & Items
About decoding Unknown Crypto and converting to points.
QWhat is an Unknown Crypto?▾
It is a bonus item that can occasionally be discovered while CryptoDiving. It is a collection of undisclosed information, and decoding it reveals the type.
Decoding steps:
Top Page → Crypto Exchange → “Decode Unknown Crypto”
Decoded Crypto can then be converted into points via “Exchange Crypto for Points.”
QWhat types of decoded Crypto are there?▾
The decoded result will be one of the following:
- Mysterious Crypto
- Rare Crypto
- Extremely Rare Crypto
- Lucky items such as Passes
You won’t know what you’ll get until you decode it.
QMy Crypto is stuck on “Decoding” and won’t change.▾
Depending on its contents, decoding can take anywhere from several hours to several weeks. The longer the decoding takes, the rarer the expected result.
QMy decoded Crypto disappeared after I checked it.▾
Checked Crypto has been moved to “Exchange Crypto for Points” in the Crypto Exchange. You can convert it to points from there.
QMy Unknown Crypto suddenly disappeared.▾
Unknown Crypto that has not been decoded may vanish after more than one week from discovery. Please decode it as soon as you find it.
QCan I choose which Crypto triggers the point multiplier chance?▾
The point multiplier chance is an event that occurs automatically at a certain probability when you check a decoded Crypto. You cannot specify which Crypto will trigger it.
QI want to convert Crypto to points all at once.▾
Using the “Bulk Send” button at the top-right of the point exchange screen, you can register all Crypto on the screen for bonus points in one go.
QCrypto point exchange failed.▾
During periods of high server traffic or maintenance, point exchange may be temporarily unavailable. Please wait a while and try again.
Crypto Drone
About the Crypto Drone that performs analysis 24 hours a day.
QWhat is a Crypto Drone?▾
A Crypto Drone (shared drone) is a dedicated program that performs password verification 24 hours a day, nonstop. When you purchase a Drone Ticket, the points verified by the drone are awarded to you for a period of 1 month to 3 years (depending on the ticket type).
From January 2025 onward, drones have also been improved so that items can be discovered.
QI can’t purchase a Drone Ticket.▾
If there are no available drones on the server, the ticket will not appear in the purchase menu. When drones become available again, it will reappear, so please wait a while and try again.
QHow do I use a Drone Ticket found while diving?▾
Using a Drone Ticket found via the Items screen lets you use a Crypto Drone for 1 month. However, if no drones are available, you cannot use it immediately — please try again later.
QWhen will the Windows version of the Drone be available?▾
A Crypto Drone that runs on Windows is currently under development. Please wait for the official announcement.
Points & Rewards
About the points system and how to receive rewards.
QWhere can I check my rewards?▾
You can check them via “Total Points” on the top page. Your total points and the corresponding reward converted to currency are displayed.
QWhen can I receive my points and rewards?▾
Points cannot be cashed out immediately.
Analysis Points → When the target wallet is successfully unlocked, you can receive BTC as work compensation in proportion to your point holdings.
QWhy does my reward amount decrease even though my points don’t change?▾
In CryptoDiver, the target BTC (currently 340 BTC + 10,000 BTC) is divided evenly by the total points of all divers. When other divers’ points increase, the amount of BTC to be distributed stays the same, so the relative value per point decreases.
Additionally, the BTC price itself fluctuates daily, so the displayed amount may rise or fall without any action on your part.
QI have points — can I cash them out?▾
Points cannot be cashed out until the target Bitcoin is unlocked.
After unlocking, once the unlock reward is received from the wallet owner, an “Exchange Points for Rewards” menu will appear. Points are the indicator that determines your distribution ratio. Let’s all work together toward the unlock.
QWhat is the Password Discovery Bonus?▾
If a password string is identified through CryptoDiving or drone analysis, the diver who performed the analysis (or had a drone rented at the time) receives special bonus points.
QPlease explain the BTC reward exchange process.▾
After a password is identified and the unlock reward is received from the wallet owner, the menu will display “Exchange Points for Rewards.”
On the exchange screen, you will see your total points, the BTC receivable via exchange, and the transfer fee (BTC). Entering a receiving Bitcoin address enables the “Exchange” button, and tapping it sends BTC to the specified address.
QHow is the BTC reward calculated?▾
The reward BTC is calculated from two factors:
① Equal-distribution component: a coefficient that allows even users with few points to receive some distribution in the initial allocation.
② Proportional-distribution component: a value distributed in descending order of point holdings.
Combining these two coefficients produces a system in which rewards are fairly distributed to everyone — including beginners as well as users who have performed extensive analysis.
QHow are taxes handled when receiving rewards?▾
In Japan, receiving BTC is subject to income tax, and a tax return is required. Furthermore, when you sell the BTC, you must file the difference between the price at receipt and the price at sale as miscellaneous income.
Tax conditions vary by individual situation and country, so please consult your local tax office or a tax accountant.
Troubleshooting
What to do when errors or bugs occur.
QCryptoDiving shows an error.▾
This means the app cannot communicate with the BtcSalvage server. Please try the following:
① Wait 2–3 minutes
② Switch between Wi-Fi and mobile connection
③ If the issue persists, uninstall and reinstall the app
Note that tickets are not consumed when a diving error occurs.
QI was force-logged out of the app.▾
If you are using restored iCloud backups or cloned virtual devices via emulators, forced logout occurs to prevent unauthorized copying of items.
In this case, uninstall the app, then freshly install it from the App Store / Google Play and log in again with the same Diver ID.
QI don’t appear in the ranking.▾
From Ver 1.2.2 onward, you will appear in the ranking as long as you have 0 or more points. Please update to the latest version.
QThe remaining days for Diving Pass 6/12 are not updating correctly.▾
This bug has been fixed in Ver 1.2.2. After updating to the latest version, we will perform recovery of your Diving Pass, so please use it again.
QI want to report a bug or issue.▾
