Participate with Confidence
The reward amount shown in your point balance cannot be received until the ongoing 340 BTC wallet is successfully unlocked.
At this time, points cannot be cashed out or used for any other purpose.
Since the 340 BTC will be divided by the total number of analysis points accumulated by all participants, the value of each point will gradually decrease as the total system-wide points increase.
Additionally, because Bitcoin’s market price fluctuates, the displayed monetary value may increase or decrease even if your point total remains the same.
Account Registration
Q. I don’t know how to enter a referral code.
A. You can enter a referral code when creating a new account.
Type in the referral code and tap the cloud icon on the right.
If the code is correct, the referrer’s Diver Name will be displayed.
If the Diver Name does not appear, the referral code is incorrect.
(Please confirm the correct code with the referrer.)
Q. Is an email address required?
A. It is not mandatory, but we strongly recommend adding one.
An email address may be needed in the future for identity verification during password resets or other important account actions.
Official announcements and important notices will also be sent via email.
Q. Can I install the app on a second smartphone and use the same account?
A. Yes.
On the login screen, enter the Diver ID (7 digits) and password you created when registering.
You can use the same account on a second device.
Points will be shared and synced across devices, but Crypto you discover and items you purchase are managed separately per device.
Q. I want to change my smartphone. What should I do?
A. Install the CryptoDiver app on your new device and log in using the same Diver ID.
Your points will be carried over.
For purchased items that have not been used yet, they can be transferred by logging out of the original device and then logging into the new device.
However, used items and discovered Crypto cannot be transferred.
Q. How do I delete my account?
A. Tap the menu button at the top-left of the main screen.
From the menu, select “Delete Account” to permanently delete your CryptoDiver account.
Q. Will I receive a refund for purchased items if I delete my account?
A. Unfortunately, refunds are not available for any purchased items.
All points and discovered Crypto will also be lost.
Q. Can I restore a deleted account?
A. No.
Once an account is deleted, it cannot be restored.
You will need to create a new account.
Q. I forgot my Diver ID (DID) or password and need to reset it.
A. A backup feature using iCloud and other services is currently under development (coming soon).
Until then, recovery requires manual support.
If you forgot your DID, please send an email with the following information:
- The information you lost (DID or password)
- Your nickname, email address, registration date, device type (iPhone / Android), and any other details needed for identity verification
If we cannot verify your identity, recovery will not be possible.

- 350 diving tickets
The official referral code is: BX4V1TW
After downloading the app, please enter this code on the registration screen before you begin.
Q. Can I choose any account name?
A. Yes, as long as it does not reveal personal information such as an email address.
Your account name is linked to your referral code and can be viewed by the person who referred you or those you refer.
You can use hiragana, katakana, kanji, alphabet letters, symbols, and even emojis.
Q. How do I earn rewards?
A. Once you complete registration, you can start performing CryptoDiving.
That’s all you need to do—the analysis will run automatically, and points will be awarded.
You can also earn bonus points by discovering unknown Crypto during dives.
Q. What is “unknown Crypto”?
A. During CryptoDiving, you may occasionally discover an item called unknown Crypto.
This is a type of bonus item.
You can decode it by going to:
Home → Crypto Exchange → Decode Unknown Crypto
After decoding, any Crypto you obtain can be converted into points via:
Home → Crypto Exchange → Exchange Crypto for Points
Q. What types of Crypto can be decoded?
A. The decoded Crypto may include:
- Mysterious Crypto
- Rare Crypto
- Extremely Rare Crypto
- Lucky items such as special passes
Check which Crypto you obtained after decoding!
Q. Where can I purchase items?
A. You can purchase items by tapping “Diving Items” on the app’s home screen, then selecting “Purchase Diving Items.”
Q. What is a Crypto Drone?
A. A Crypto Drone (shared drone) is a dedicated diving program that exists within the system.
It performs password verification tasks 24 hours a day, nonstop.
By purchasing a Drone Ticket, you will receive the points earned by that drone for a fixed period—from 1 month to 3 years, depending on the ticket type.
Q. Can a Crypto Drone find items?
A. Until January 2025, drones could only earn points and did not discover items.
However, from January 2025 onward, they have been updated to allow item discovery as well.
Q. I cannot purchase a Drone Ticket.
A. When the system temporarily runs out of available Crypto Drones, the option to purchase Drone Tickets will disappear from the item shop.
Once additional drones become available, the ticket will reappear and can be purchased.
(You can only buy a ticket when the purchase button is active.)
Q. I still cannot purchase a Drone Ticket (Vol. 2).
A. There is a limit to how many drones a single account can own.
You cannot own more than 10 drones per account.
Q. I found a Drone Ticket during a dive. What should I do?
A. You may occasionally discover a Drone Ticket while CryptoDiving.
You can activate this ticket from the Items screen to use a Crypto Drone for 1 month.
However, if no drones are available at that moment, you will not be able to activate it.
Please try using the ticket again at a later time.
Q. My purchased Diving Pass disappeared.
A. Once a Diving Pass is used, it is removed from your item list.
The expiration date of your Diving Pass is displayed at the top of the CryptoDiving screen.
Q. My Diving Tickets disappeared.
A. Once you use a Diving Ticket, it is removed from your Item List.
The remaining number of tickets is displayed at the top of the CryptoDiving screen.
Q. The remaining days for my active Diving Pass are no longer displayed.
A. Diving Passes and Diving Tickets are consumable items.
Once you start using a ticket or pass, the item cannot be restored.
Please note that remaining days or remaining ticket counts will be lost if you delete your account or log out.
Q. CryptoDiving shows an error and I can’t dive.
A. This occurs when the app cannot communicate with the BtcSalvage server.
Please wait a few minutes (2–3 minutes) and try switching between Wi-Fi and mobile data.
Q. The diving error does not go away.
A. If diving errors continue repeatedly, please check your network environment and try again after some time.
If the issue persists, uninstall and reinstall the app.
Q. What happens to my ticket if a dive fails?
A. If a dive fails, your Diving Ticket is not consumed and will remain available.
Q. Ads do not load during a dive.
A. The ads are delivered through Google AdMob.
Depending on ad availability, there may be times when no ads are ready, and therefore ad viewing is not possible.
Please try again later when more ads become available.
Q. I found an Unknown Crypto, but I don’t know what to do.
A. Unknown Crypto is a collection of undisclosed data fragments.
You can decode it in the Crypto Exchange menu to reveal what type it is.
Decoded Crypto can then be converted into bonus points or various items.
Q. My Crypto has been stuck on “Decoding” for a long time.
A. Depending on the content, some Crypto may take a long time to decode—from several hours to even several weeks.
Crypto that takes longer to decode is usually a high-value opportunity!
Q. My decoded Crypto disappeared after checking it.
A. After checking your decoded Crypto, it moves to:
Crypto Exchange → Exchange Crypto for Points.
Q. Why can’t I choose which Crypto gets the point multiplication bonus?
A. The point multiplier bonus occurs randomly when checking a decoded Crypto.
You cannot select or control which Crypto triggers the bonus event.
Q. My Unknown Crypto suddenly disappeared. Why?
A. Unknown Crypto that remains undecoded for more than one week may automatically expire.
Please decode it as soon as possible.
Q. There are too many Crypto items, and exchanging them for points is difficult.
A. You can use the Bulk Transfer button at the top-right of the screen to register all Crypto on the current page for bonus points at once. It’s very convenient.
Q. Point exchange failed.
A. During times of high server load or maintenance, point exchange may temporarily fail.
Please try again after waiting a short while.
Q. My points increased, but I don’t appear in the ranking.
A. In the current specification, a user will not appear in the ranking unless they have completed a certain number of diving operations in addition to having points.
In Ver 1.2.2, this was updated so that users with 1 point or more will appear.
Please update to the latest version.
Q. The remaining days for Diving Pass 6 or 12 do not update correctly.
A. This issue has been fixed in Ver 1.2.2.
After updating to the latest version, your Diving Pass 6 or 12 will be restored and available for use again.
Rewards & Points
Q. Where can I check my rewards?
A. You can check them from:
Home → Total Points
Here you will see your total accumulated points and the corresponding reward amount displayed in currency value.
Q. The point-to-reward conversion rate doesn’t match. Why?
A. The total amount of Bitcoin being challenged is fixed, but the total number of points earned by all participants continues to increase.
In other words:
- The Bitcoin pool stays the same
- But the total points keep increasing
Therefore, the amount of Bitcoin allocated per point (your displayed reward value) gradually decreases.
Additionally, the displayed amount fluctuates because it is calculated based on the current Bitcoin market price.
However, if the wallet were unlocked at that moment, you would receive the exact amount shown at that time.
Q. I have accumulated points. Can I cash them out now?
A. No. Points cannot be cashed out until the Bitcoin wallet being challenged is successfully unlocked.
CryptoDiver is an app where all participants work together to unlock Bitcoin.
Once the wallet is unlocked, the Bitcoin is received by CryptoDiver headquarters and then distributed to all participants according to their point share.
Your points represent your percentage share of the total reward.
Let’s work together to unlock it!
Q. I just registered and it shows about ¥3,000. Can I receive this amount?
A. Yes, you can.
You receive Bitcoin equivalent to your points just by registering — even if you haven’t done anything yet.
However, it can only be cashed out after the Bitcoin wallet is unlocked.
This means you receive rewards simply by signing up.
Please note:
- Without a referral code, you will not receive the initial bonus points.
- The number of bonus points does not change, but the reward value fluctuates depending on the Bitcoin price and point distribution.
Q. What does “Total Points” mean?
A. It represents the total number of contribution points you’ve earned through your participation in the BtcSalvage project via the CryptoDiver app.
You can see the breakdown in the Point Details section.
Q. What does “Diving Count” mean?
A. It shows the total number of CryptoDiving attempts you have performed using the app.
Q. What are “Analysis Points”?
A. These are the cumulative work-contribution points earned each time you perform a CryptoDive.
Q. When do I receive bonus points?
A. Bonus points are awarded as work-reward points when certain conditions are met during CryptoDiving (such as total analysis count milestones or matching numbers), when you refer new divers, or when you contribute to system operations.
Q. What is the “Password Discovery Bonus”?
A. If a password fragment is discovered through CryptoDiving or by a rented Crypto Drone, the diver account that performed the calculation (or owns the active drone) will receive a Password Discovery Bonus (points).
Q. Where do I receive the reward after a password is discovered?
A. To prevent accidental operations, the screen for converting points into rewards (BTC) does not appear under normal circumstances.
After a password is discovered and the unlocking reward is received from the wallet owner, a new menu option — “Exchange Points for Rewards” — will appear. Tapping it will take you to the point exchange screen.
Q. How do I exchange my points for BTC?
A. On the point exchange screen, you will see:
- Your total points
- The amount of BTC you will receive when exchanging those points
- The BTC network fee
Once you enter your Bitcoin receiving address, the Exchange button becomes available.
Tap it to send the displayed BTC amount to your specified address.
Points cannot be exchanged until the Bitcoin wallet being analyzed has been successfully unlocked.
Q. How is the reward BTC amount determined?
A. Once the wallet is unlocked, the reward BTC is determined based on the wallet’s balance.
The wallet owner provides 10%–50% of the wallet balance as an unlocking reward.
This reward is divided by the total number of points issued up to the moment of unlocking, which gives the BTC value per point.
Additionally, two adjustments are applied:
- A coefficient that allows users with fewer points to still receive meaningful rewards
- A distribution ratio based on total point ownership across all users
Combining these factors produces the final BTC reward amount for each user.
Q. I don’t understand how points are calculated.
A. You can think of it like this:
- A coefficient that ensures users with fewer points can still earn a fair amount
- A coefficient that distributes more reward to users with higher point totals
These two factors ensure that both beginners and heavy divers receive appropriate rewards.
Q. I can’t find where to enter my Bitcoin address to receive rewards.
A. The Bitcoin address field becomes available only after a password is discovered and the reward-claim screen becomes active.
During normal usage, you cannot enter a withdrawal Bitcoin address.
Q. Why does my reward amount drop even though my points haven’t changed?
A. CryptoDiver distributes 340 BTC evenly based on the total points in the system.
As more points are generated through CryptoDiving and decoding unknown Crypto, the total points increase — but the 340 BTC reward pool stays the same.
Therefore:
- Total points increase → BTC value per point decreases
Also:
- Bitcoin’s price fluctuates daily
- So the displayed monetary value can rise or fall even without any point changes
The displayed amount is simply how much you would receive if unlocking happened right now.
Other
Q. Isn’t searching for passwords illegal?
A. No. All password recovery operations are conducted under direct authorization from the wallet owner, so there is nothing illegal about it.
Q. Are the high rewards legal?
A. Yes. The rewards provided through CryptoDiver are legitimate compensation for analysis work and contributions to the BtcSalvage project’s progress.
They are not illegal in any way.
Q. How are taxes handled when receiving rewards?
A. Under Japanese tax law, Bitcoin (BTC) received as a reward is considered taxable income, so you must declare it in your annual tax return.
If you later sell the BTC, you must report the capital gain or loss — based on the difference between the BTC price at receipt and the price at sale — as miscellaneous income.
Tax rules may vary by country or individual circumstances, so please consult your local tax office or a certified tax accountant for details.
Q. Which auto-clicker app should I use?
A. We cannot recommend or guarantee the operation of any third-party auto-clicker or rapid-tap tool available on Google Play or elsewhere.
Use of such tools is at your own discretion and risk.
Q. How can I use an emulator to run the app?
A. We do not provide support or guarantees for running CryptoDiver on emulator software.
Performance may vary depending on CPU specs, memory, and settings — and issues such as app crashes or in-app purchase failures have been reported.
Please note that CryptoDiver’s operation on emulators is not officially supported.
Q. I was automatically logged out when starting the app. What should I do?
A. If you are using a copied or cloned environment (for example, an iCloud backup from another iPhone or an emulator device), the system may automatically log you out to prevent unauthorized duplication or use of purchased items or bonus points.
If this occurs, please uninstall the app, then reinstall it from the App Store or Google Play, and log in again with the same Diver ID.
This will restore your legitimate access.
We appreciate your cooperation in preventing unauthorized use.
Q. When will the Windows version of Crypto Drone be available?
A. A Windows-based Crypto Drone is currently under development as an automated diving tool.
Please stay tuned for the official release announcement.
Q. Is CryptoDiver really performing a brute-force search across 10²⁸ (sextillion) combinations?
A. No, it is not.
That figure would apply only if we were attempting a brute-force recovery of all possible recovery phrases, which is computationally impossible and unrelated to our targeted approach.
CryptoDiver does perform systematic key analysis, but not across the full theoretical space of 10²⁸ combinations.
Due to proprietary technology and ongoing research, some details remain undisclosed.
Thank you for your understanding.
